Daytona Beach, FL - The Daytona Tortugas have won the 2015 Clash of the Caps, crowning the Cincinnati Reds Advanced-A Affiliate as the most popular hat and logo in Minor League Baseball.

The winner was determined through a three-week online fan vote. All 160 teams presented one hat, with the Tortugas submitting their green gameday cap.

Daytona's new brand of baseball has garnered local and national acclaim, with 2015 merchandise sales already surpassing that of any prior season. The Tortugas' logos were designed by Louisville-based Studio Simon, which has been involved in dozens of Minor League rebranding efforts.

The competition reflected strongly on the Reds organization, as two other Cincinnati affiliates finished in the Top 10. The Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos ranked second, while the Short- Season Billings Mustangs placed 10th .

Over one million votes were cast in the 2015 Clash of the Caps. The Fort Wayne Tin Caps, Nashville Sounds, and Biloxi Shuckers rounded out the Top 5. The defending champion El Paso Chihuahuas finished ninth.

In celebration of the victory, the Tortugas are offering a $4 online discount on the award-winning hat through August 2.
