Toronto FC II announced today that the club has signed goalkeeper Borja Angoitia.
Angoitia, 26, most recently spent the 2017 season with Rio Grande Valley FC Toros of the United Soccer League (USL) where he appeared in 14 matches and recorded two clean sheets. During his four year college career (2011 - 2014) with the Quinnipiac Bobcats he appeared in 68 matches and recorded 23 clean sheets. Angoitia signed with Segunda División B team Sociedad Deportiva Amorebieta (SD Amorebieta) in 2016. He appeared in nine matches, registering one clean sheet.
