Toronto Arrows News Release
TORONTO, ON - The Toronto Arrows are pleased to announce that that prop Marc-Antoine Ouellet has been signed to add experienced depth to the club's front row.
Ouellet, 27, is returning to the Arrows for a third campaign after featuring in six matches over the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
A crossover athlete from gridiron football, the six-foot-four, 270-pound former defensive lineman enjoyed a successful post-secondary career at his hometown Universite Laval - highlighted by earning a Vanier Cup national championship with the Rouge et Or in 2016 - before turning his attention to rugby.
"We're looking forward to welcoming Marc-Antoine back into our fold," said Tim Matthews, Toronto Arrows Vice President and General Manager. "He's a big, powerful player who adds to our roster depth, and will pick up right where he left off in previous seasons."
Arrow #56 is a graduate of Rugby Canada's Pacific Pride national development program and played his grassroots rugby with Club de Rugby de Quebec.
