Toronto Arrows News Release

TORONTO, ON - The Toronto Arrows are pleased to announce that wing Kobe Faust has re-signed with the club for the 2024 Major League Rugby season.

Faust, 21, is returning to the Arrows for a fourth campaign after featuring in 16 matches (eight starts) for the club since debuting in 2021.

Coming off his most impactful season to date, the six-foot-one, 220-pound outside back posted career highs in several statistical categories in 2023, including appearances (12), carries (44), carry metres (423), and tackles (40), while also notably becoming the youngest player in franchise history to score off the tee when he slotted a penalty goal in Week 2.

Over his first three seasons with the club, Faust has produced 562 carry metres on 57 carries, 46 tackles, eight defenders beaten, two linebreaks and two offloads.

Internationally, the native of Uxbridge, Ont. represented Canada at the World Rugby Under-20 Canada Conference 2022 tournament. He previously featured for Canada at the under-18 level as an under-ager in 2019 and participated in Rugby Canada's under-20 camp following the 2021 MLR season.

Arrow #63 is a graduate of the Ontario Blues junior men's provincial program and played his grassroots rugby with the Oshawa Vikings. He is currently a member of the University of Guelph post-secondary program, where he has helped guide his Gryphons side to three consecutive Turner Trophy provincial titles between 2021 and 2023.

The club will be making additional signing announcements in the coming weeks as 2024 season preparations continue to build.
