
Tornadoes fall to Court Kings, 79-75

HATTIESBURG, MS---The North Mississippi Tornadoes fought to the very end once again, but came up short Saturday night in Birmingham, losing to the Magic City Court Kings, 79-75. The loss takes the Tornadoes to 1-4 overall and 1-3 in Western Conference play.
For the third straight game the Tornadoes were without the services of their captain Jamie Rosser, formerly of Arkansas State, who set out with an Achilles' tendon related injury. Rosser is considered day to day and is probable for the weekend.
The Tornadoes return to Birmingham this Friday, May 5, for the third game of the season's four game Western Conference series with the Court Kings. Tip-off is set for 7 PM.
The Tornadoes will return to Olive Branch from a three game road trip this Saturday night, May 6, for more Western Conference action against the Mississippi Hardhats, tip-off for that game is set for 7 PM as well.
