
Tornadoes Win Overtime Thriller

Memphis Tornadoes News Release
SOUTHAVEN, MS---The North Mississippi Tornadoes fought back from a ten point deficit at the end of the third quarter to force the game into overtime and eventually defeat the Murfreesboro Musicians, 132-113.
Adrian Henning (Austin Peay State University) led all scorers with 28 points. Marcus Hicks (University of Mississippi) and Anthony Davis (Austin Peay State University) also had strong showings for the Tornadoes with 24 and 21 points, respectively. The Musicians were led by Cedric McGinnis and William Pippen who each had 26 points. The win closed out the Tornadoes' regular season at 10-10. The Tornadoes now travel to Rome, Georgia to compete in the 2006 WBA Championship Tournament that begins Thursday, June 29th.
