
Tony Jaramillo Promoted to Reds Staff as Assistant Hitting Coach

Louisville Bats News Release
The Cincinnati Reds announced today that Tony Jaramillo has been promoted to assistant hitting coach for the Reds for the 2016 season. He served as the Bats hitting coach from 2013-2015. The Bats hit .251 and averaged 3.7 runs/game, 3.5 RBI/game and 0.55 HR/game in three seasons with Jaramillo as hitting coach.
Also, former Bats manager during the 2013 and 2014 seasons, Jim Riggleman, will serve as bench coach in 2016. This past season, he served as the Reds' third base coach.
