Tonight's Game Postponed

INDIANAPOLIS -- Wednesday afternoon's International League contest between the Indianapolis Indians and Lehigh Valley IronPigs has been postponed due to rain.

The teams will now play the second and third games of their series in a doubleheader on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. EDT. Both games will be scheduled for seven innings. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m.

The doubleheader will be preceded by the Indian's annual pre-game Youth Baseball Clinic beginning at 5:15 p.m.

Lehigh Valley RHP Carlos Carrasco and Indianapolis RHP Daniel McCutchen are the probable starters for game one, while IronPigs RHP Rodrigo Lopez and Indians RHP Virgil Vasquez are expected to get the nod in game two.

Both of Thursday evening's contests will be carried by WXLW-950 AM and www.IndyIndians.com with Howard Kellman and Scott McCauley. The pre-game show begins at 6:10 p.m.

Fans with tickets to Wednesday afternoon's contest may exchange them for tickets of equal value to another 2009 regular-season home game. All exchanges are based on availability and must be made at the Victory Field Box Office.
