OIL WELL: Tulsa has won five of six to regain the top spot in the Central Hockey League's Northwest Division. All-Star Todd Marcellus is leading the Oilers' charge with six goals and eight assists in the last six games. Tulsa started the season 18-2, then went 7-13-5 in a 25-game stretch in December and January. The Oilers are 5-1 in February. Former Buck defenseman Andrew Oke came to Tulsa in a February 3 trade with Wichita. Oke posted five points, +3 and 37 penalty minutes in 19 games with the Bucks. He is +5 with a goal in five games with the Oilers.
GOLDENROD: All-Star goalie Rod Branch tied a CHL record last Thursday with his eighth shutout of the season. Branch and the Oilers blanked Indianapolis 3-0 at the Tulsa Convention Center. Branch tied the league record set by Odessa's Grant Sjerven in the 2000-2001 season.
JERSEY AUCTION: The Bucks' Valentine's Day jerseys are available in a silent auction at tonight's game. The Bucks recorded the first shutout in franchise history with these jerseys on Friday, February 14 vs. New Mexico (2-0).
POWER SERGE: Defenseman Serge Dube has two goals and three assists in the last two games. Dube is ninth among CHL blueliners with 37 points.
