Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz News Release
OKLAHOMA CITY- Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz QB Tommy Grady is in Miami, Fla., today trying out for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. The Miami Dolphins contacted Yard Dawgz Head Coach Sparky McEwen earlier last week to set up a time for Grady to tryout for the team.
"This is a great opportunity for Tommy. Since his return to Oklahoma City, he has put in a lot of work to become a better quarterback both physically and mentally. This is a great example that hard work pays off. Tommy has definitely put in the hard work to give himself this opportunity," said McEwen.
In his first full season as the Dawgz starting quarterback, Grady had 363 completions of 597 attempts with 17 interceptions for 4,307 passing yards and 81 touchdowns.
"It's a great opportunity. It says a lot about my whole team. I wouldn't be there if it weren't for the rest of these guys," said Grady.
