Tomahawks "Jet" Past the Generals

Johnstown Tomahawks News Release
JOHNSTOWN, Penn. - The Johnstown Tomahawks defeated the Northeast Generals 3-2 on Friday. The Generals got on the board early in the 1st period, but the Tomahawks would score at the same mark in the 2nd period. Johnstown broke the 1-1 tie, only to have Northeast answer late in the 2nd to send a tied game into the third period.
Johnstown's Spencer DenBeste then scored his second goal of the game, giving the Tomahawks the 3-2 lead with half a period left. Northeast would pull their goalie to try and tie the game with the extra skater, but the Tomahawks held on and David Tomeo skated away with his 2nd win as a Tomahawk.
Legend Reg Kent was in the house as the Tomahawks honored his prolific career with the Johnstown Jets by giving away bobbleheads to fans. The first 1,000 fans received a bobblehead with a signed collectors box.
Elsewhere in the NAHL, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights defeated the Maryland Black Bears 5-2. This results in the Tomahawks remaining 3rd place in the East Division, trailing the WBS Knights by 1 point.
The Hawks return to action on Saturday, October 26th against the Generals. It's Trick or Treat at the Rink night, where kids can enjoy a safe trick or treat in the arena concourse, and will receive a souvenir tote bag (while supplies last)! It's also ASL Awareness night, where the Tomahawks will be doing some special promotions for American Sign Language, including an interpreter with the National Anthem.
The game starts at 7:00p and the gates open at 6:00p. As always, Season Ticket Holders get in 15 minutes earlier.
