Tomahawks Hitting Home Ice with Big Promos

JOHNSTOWN, Penn. The Johnstown Tomahawks, hot off the heels of an impressive 2018-19 season, are set for their first home stand of the season against the New Jersey Titans this Friday and Saturday.

The Hawks sit in the middle of the East Division with 5 points (2-3-1), while the Titans lead the division with 10 (5-1-0). Fans may recall the last time the Tomahawks and Titans met, Johnstown ran away with a 5-0 victory that knocked New Jersey out of the 2019 Robertson Cup Playoffs in Game 5 of the 2nd Round.

You can still take advantage of Season Tickets by calling 814-536-GOAL (4625), and single game tickets can be purchased in-person at the Arena Box Office and online with Ticketmaster.

MINI-BANNER GIVAWAY - Friday, September 27

This Friday, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a commemorative mini-banner celebrating the Tomahawks 2018-19 NAHL Regular Season Championship.

We'll have some Tomahawks alumni in the house to help us unveil three banners commemorating the history 2018-19 Johnstown Tomahawks! Keep your eye on the sky as we raise 'em high!

50/50 proceeds will benefit the Johnstown Police Department

Chuck-A-Puck proceeds will benefit the Johnstown Tomahawks Foundation

The Wendy's Jersey of the Game is Team Captain Chris Trouba

2x Stanley Cup Champion PHIL BOURQUE will drop the ceremonial first puck, then head to the Esmark Lounge (Section 9) for a meet and greet with Season Ticket Holders. All other fans are welcome to come meet The Ol' Two-Niner at 8:30p.

Following the game, there will be an autograph session in the concourse near the Tomahawks Locker Room (Section 8)

Gates open at 6:30p (Season Ticket Holders get in at 6:15p) and the puck drops at 7:30p

MEET BOURQUE

TURN THE TOWNS TEAL - Saturday, September 28

On Saturday, we join with the Ann Harris Smith Foundation, Laurel Toyota, and Stryking Boutique to "Turn the Towns Teal" in an effort to promote Ovarian Cancer Awareness.

The Tomahawks will wear special teal jerseys, which will be available on DASH Auctions. Look for DASH on your smart phone app store.

SKATE FOR FREE THIS SUNDAY!

Our friends from 1ST SUMMIT BANK are giving you a chance to skate for free on Sunday, September 29th! A special 3 hour Public Skate, from 12:00p to 3:00p, will feature FREE ADMISSION and free skate rentals for all guests (while supplies last)!

Everyone's favorite mascot, Chopper, and Johnstown Tomahawks players will hit the ice to meet and skate with everyone! Skaters will also be able to win prizes throughout the afternoon, including a Tomahawks prize pack, tickets to upcoming 1ST SUMMIT ARENA events, and more!

Be sure to bring your appetite or quench your thirst at the concession stand located at Section 5, as 1ST SUMMIT ARENA will be donating 10% of sales made during the event to our local youth hockey.
