
Tom Philand Named SVP of Media and Sponsorship Sales for Kroenke Sports Enterprises

Kroenke Sports Enterprises announced today the promotion of Altitude Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales and Marketing, Tom Philand, to the position of KSE Senior Vice President of Media and Sponsorship Sales. In his newly expanded role, Philand will continue to be in charge of Sales and Marketing for Altitude Sports and will also oversee and combine all sales and sponsorship departments of KSE, including the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids, Colorado Mammoth, Altitude television and radio networks', Pepsi Center, Dick's Sporting Goods Park, Paramount Theatre as well as all internet properties. Philand has been with Altitude for the past six years in his current role, and prior worked in sponsorship with Kroenke Sports Enterprises.
"Tom has had a distinguished career as a marketing and sales executive," said Jim Martin, KSE President and Chief Executive Officer. "He has played a significant role in the growth of both KSE and Altitude over the past decade. His sales and marketing expertise and knowledge of the Denver marketplace will prove invaluable as we continue to provide the best sports and entertainment value for not only our fans but our sponsors and business partners as well."

Prior to his involvement with both Altitude and KSE, Philand worked as Director of Marketing for both the Denver Post and King Soopers.
