2004 Kelly Cup Playoffs Northern Division Semifinals (Best-of-Five Series)

No.3 Peoria Riveremn (45-18-9) at No. 2 Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies (47-19-6) 7:05 ET

* Atlantic City won the Kelly Cup in 2003 and advanced to the Northern Conference Finals in 2002.
* Peoria has made the postseason in each of its eight seasons and won the 2000 Kelly Cup.
* Atlantic City's Jon Cullen led the league with nine shorthand points (5g-4a).
* Tyler Rennette leads Peoria with 31 goals and 68 points in 65 games.
* Atlantic City set team records for points (100), wins (47) and road wins (23).
* Peoria's Levente Szuper is 12-1-0 with three shutouts and a 2.00 GAA in his last 13 games.


2004 Kelly Cup Playoffs Central Division Semifinals (Best-of-Five Series)

No. 4 Pensacola Ice Pilots (40-23-9) at No.1 Louisiana IceGators (48-22-2) 7:05 CT

* Louisiana has advanced to the postseason in each of its nine seasons and advanced to the 2000 Kelly Cup Finals.
* Pensacola is in the playoffs for the third straight year and the sixth time in its eight seasons in Pensacola.
* Louisiana's Derek Gustafson tied for the league lead with five shutouts and ranked second with a 2.09 GAA.
* Pensacola defenseman Corey Neilson led the ECHL with 35 power-play assists and 44 power-play points.
* Louisiana's Ben Storey led league defensemen with 15 power-play goals.
* Pensacola's Brian Eklund set the ECHL records with 2,194 saves and 3,724 minutes and tied the ECHL record with 38 wins.

No. 3 Gwinnett Gladiators (42-22-8) at No. 2 Mississippi Sea Wolves (45-20-7) 7:05 CT

* Mississippi's Steffon Walby was second in the ECHL in scoring with 88 points (33g-55a) in 59 games.
* Gwinnett's Kevin Doell led ECHL rookies with 33 goals and seven game-winning goals.
* Mississippi's Jim Baxter tied for the league lead among defensemen with five game-winning goals.
* Gladiators' Brandon Dietrich was second in the ECHL with 60 assists.
* Mississippi is in playoffs for third year in a row and won the 1999 Kelly Cup Championship.
* Six different Gladiators scored 20 goals this season (Brown - 20, Durno - 20, Bennefield - 20, Slonina - 20, Aquino - 27 and Doell - 33).


2004 Kelly Cup Playoffs Pacific Division Semifinals (Best-of-Five Series)
Alaska leads 1-0

Alaska Aces (1-0) at San Diego Gulls (0-1) 7:05 PT

* Alaska's Joe Talbot scored two goals to lead the Aces to a 4-2 win in Game 1 at San Diego on Tuesday.
* San Diego allowed four first-period goals, and Aces' Dan Murphy made 37 saves in Game 1.
* San Diego's Mark Pederson led the ECHL with 44 goals and 18 power-play goals.
* Alaska's Mark Smith was tied for second in the ECHL with five shorthand goals.
* San Diego's Trevor Koenig ranked second in the ECHL with 37 wins and third with a 2.17 GAA.
* Aces' Joe Talbot was tied for sixth among ECHL rookies with 56 points (24g-32a).
* San Diego became second first-year team in 16-year history of ECHL to win regular season points title.
* Alaska's Charles Linglet ranked 10th in the ECHL among rookies with 55 points (20g-35a).
