
Tmej Signs with Roanoke for 2026-2027 Season

ROANOKE, VA - The Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Friday that goaltender Dominik Tmej has signed a contract for the 2026-2027 season.
The Bradenton, Florida native enters his second professional season after an outstanding rookie campaign with the FPHL's Binghamton Black Bears. Tmej appeared in 43 games, leading the league in wins while posting a 28-2-0 record in games in which he earned the decision. The five-foot-eleven goaltender finished his rookie year with a .932 save percentage, a 1.83 goals-against average, and seven shutouts.
Tmej helped lead the Black Bears to the 2025-2026 FPHL Championship and was named the league's Goaltender of the Year.
Prior to his professional career, Tmej spent five seasons at Briercrest College (ACAC), appearing in 64 games, recording a 2.71 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage. In the 2023-2024 season, he was recognized with the ACAC's Best Goals-Against Average and Best Save Percentage awards.
Roanoke will host the Fayetteville Marksmen to kick off the 2026-2027 season on Friday, October 16, with puck drop set for 7:05 P.M. Season tickets, ticket packages and group tickets are on sale now through the Rail Yard Dawgs front office. Single-game tickets and parking will go on sale Wednesday, September 16, through the Berglund Center box office and online.
