Cedar Rapids Titans Signee, Quarterback Jawad Yatim

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Titans have signed quarterback Jawad Yatim, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon. Yatim (6'1", 200 lbs.) joins the Titans after spending the past two years at Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts.
Appearing in 20 games for the Mustangs, Yatim completed 241 or 463 passes for 3,038 yards and 27 touchdowns. He also recorded 215 on the ground while adding nine rushing touchdowns.
"Having Jawad in camp will provide great competition," Titans co-owner and general manager Chris Kokalis reflected. "He's an athletic quarterback and a quick learner so I think he'll pick up the indoor game well."
Prior to his time at Mount Ida, Yatim played a season for the Dean Junior College (MA) Bulldogs. While at Dean, Yatim threw for 1,065 yards and eight touchdowns on 82 passes.
