Fever Sign Four

Tri-Cities Fever News Release


The Tri-Cities Fever would like to announce the signing four players for the 2016 season.

Roosevelt Holiday (6'2" 303lbs) defensive lineman from Eastern Illinois University. Roosevelt earned second team all OVC honors as a senior in 2012 after totaling 58 tackles in 12 starts. He saw action in 45 games starting 31 in his career. He was signed by the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Power. Coach Lingenfelder said" Roosevelt is an absolute beast and we are thrilled to have him."

Dee Maggitt (5'10" 190lbs) defensive back from Hawaii University. Dee played in 44 games making 20 starts for the University of Hawaii in his career. He had 110 career tackles and 19 pass breakups. "Dee is very athletic defensive back and from Tacoma area. We feel he is an upgrade from last year's team." Coach Lingenfelder said.

Hosea Crooms (6'2" 360lbs) defensive lineman from Lincoln University. Hosea was a 2014 Pre Season Division II All American pick and played in National Bowl in Miami. Coach Lingenfelder said "Watched Hosea play in the National Bowl game and was impressed which how athletic he was for a big man. Look forward to seeing his skills develop more."

Zac Woods (6'3" 295lbs) offensive lineman from Dakota St University. Zac was a two time All-Conference and 2014 NAIA All American. Woods played in the National Bowl game in Miami. Coach Lingenfelder said "Zac makes an already good offensive line better. Can never have enough quality centers and Zac is one of them."
