November 15, 2007 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Orlando Titans News Release

New York, NY-- The New York Titans have signed seven year NLL veteran Jeff Ratcliffe to a one year deal. The 6'1", 208 pound forward signs with the Titans after playing for the Philadelphia Wings from 2001 through 2007.

Ratcliffe graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2000 and was selected fourth over-all by the Wings in the 2000 NLL Entry Draft. In 2001, Ratcliffe led all NLL rookies in regular season scoring with 46 points off of 21 goals and 25 assists and helped lead the Wings to their 6th NLL Championship. In 2004, Ratcliffe was selected to the Eastern Division's All-Star team. Last season, Ratcliffe scored 16 goals and notched five assists for the Wings.

"I am excited to bring Jeff to New York to be part of the Titans second season," said Titans head coach Adam Mueller. "I have coached Jeff in the past, including his rookie season when we won a Championship together in 2001. Jeff has had great success in the NLL in each season he has played, scoring 43 goals in 2005. He will compliment Casey, Ryan and Mike nicely and no doubt will leave everything he has on the floor each night."

In addition to signing Ratcliffe, the Titans have resigned defenseman Bryan Barrett, goalie Matt Vinc, defenseman Rich Brzeski, goalie Erik Miller, transition player Keevin Galbraith, forward Brian Tower, forward Hunter Lochte, defenseman John Orsen and transition player Matt Zash. Additionally the Titans have signed rookies Dan Bauers, Mitch Belisle, Mike Haas, Ricky Smith and Rob Smith. The contracts are pending league approval.
