Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Titans and Cedar Rapids Rampage, a long with many sponsors, would like to remind you of the 5th Annual "A Christmas to Remember" Community Holiday Party & Toy Drive taking place tonight. The event is from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and is being held at the Clarion Hotel at 525 33rd Avenue Southwest in Cedar Rapids.
The event is open to the public and admission is free. Those attending are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for Big Brothers Big Sisters families throughout Linn County. The party will feature complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, music, door prizes, and autographs from Titans and
Rampage players and coaches. Santa is also expected to make an appearance. Following the event, Titans and Rampage players and staff will hand-deliver toys collected to local families struggling to make ends meet during this holiday season.
The Cedar Rapids Titans are a fIfth-year franchise playing in the Indoor Football League. The Titans play in the IFL's United Conference along with Green Bay, Bemidji, Mankato, Sioux Falls, and Iowa. For more information on the team, visit www.cedarrapidstitans.com.
The Indoor Football League (www.goifl.com) is a 12-team league based out of Richmond, Virginia with franchises in 9 states. The league holds a 16-game regular season schedule that runs February through June. The IFL's playoffs culminate in July with the IFL United Bowl.
