
Titans Fall to Sioux Falls 70-33

SIOUX FALLS, SD: The Titans fell to the Sioux Falls Storm Monday night by a score of 70-33.
Sioux Falls would score first after a 14-yard quarterback keeper by Lorenzo Brown, putting the Storm on top 7-0. The Titans would cut the lead to 7-6 after Jake Medlock found Marquel Wade for the touchdown. The Storm would finish their first quarter with a 13-6 lead when Lorenzo Brown found Judd Harold for the touchdown.
Cedar Rapids would tie the game after Jake Medlock found Marquel Wade for the five-yard touchdown. Sioux Falls would score three consecutive touchdowns after Lyle McCombs ran in an 11 yard, 17 yard and a one-yard touchdowns. Putting the Storm on top 33-13 at the end of the half.
The Storm would strike first in the third quarter after Lorenzo Brown found Judd Harrold for the 15-yard touchdown, extending the Storms lead to 40-13. The Titans would answer back when Jake Medlock found Marquel Wade for the 20-yard touchdown and a successful two-point conversion by Connor Hollenbeck. Dillion Turner found Judd Harrold in the end zone to put the Storm up 47-21. Jake Medlock found Connor Hollenbeck for a 19-yard touchdown, cutting the Storms lead to 47-27. The Storm would answer back with a 49-yard touchdown after Daniel Lindsey would return the kickoff to the house and then the Sioux Falls defense got a safety. Ending the third quarter with a score of 56-27.
The Storm would begin the fourth quarter with a 19-yard touchdown after Lorenzo Brown found Judd Harrold, extending the Storms lead to 63-27.The Titans answered back with a one-yard rushing touchdown by Jake Medlock. The game would end after a 12-yard touchdown reception by Judd Harrold and a score of 70-33.
Titans quarterback Jake Medlock would finish the night completing 23 of 40 passes for 184 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also rushed for 14 yards on 7 carries and added a rushing touchdown. The Titans defense was led by Rodney Barnes who finished the night with 10 tackles.
The Titans return to the U.S. Cellular Center for Monday Night Football as they take on the Nebraska Danger Monday March 19th at 7:05pm. All kids 14 and under will be admitted free to the game when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are on sale now and available at the U.S. Cellular Center box office.
