
Titan, Screaming Eagles Fined; Coaches Suspended

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, November 30, 2009 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Disciplinary Prefect today announced that head coaches Ron Choules (Titan) and Mario Durocher (Screaming Eagles) have each been suspended for their clubs' next two games due to the fight that broke out between Ashton Bernard and Marshall Worden during the warm-up period of last Friday's game. Moreover, both organizations have been fined $2,000. Of note, these disciplinary sanctions are automatic as outlined in rule 54 g).
Ashton Bernard (Cape Breton) and Marshall Worden (Titan) received ten-game suspensions.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the Disciplinary Prefect will not be available for further comment.
