HOUSTON - Houston Comets F Tina Thompson suffered a strained right calf during Wednesday night's game in Los Angeles and is out for tonight's contest at San Antonio.
Currently the Comets' leading scorer, Thompson (6-2, USC) is averaging 17.1 points, along with 5.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 19 games (19 starts) this season.
