PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers announced this evening that tonight's U.S. Open Cup match against Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders FC at PGE Park is sold out.
Tickets in all seating sections were gone by Wednesday afternoon, and an additional 400 standing-room-only tickets that were made available at the PGE Park box office at 5 p.m. sold within 25 minutes.
Gates open at 6 p.m. for tonight's 7 p.m. match against Seattle, and fans with tickets are encouraged to arrive early as the result of the sellout crowd for the third-round U.S. Open Cup match between the Northwest rivals.
