
Timbers' Pore Selected to Team of the Week

PORTLAND, Ore. - United Soccer Leagues announced today that Portland Timbers midfielder Ryan Pore was selected to the USL First Division Team of the Week for Week 17. Pore aided in the Timbers' draw over the weekend, extending their record-setting unbeaten streak.
Pore, 25, scored the go-ahead goal for the Timbers in a 1-1 draw on the road against the Minnesota Thunder on Aug. 1. With the draw, Portland stretched its USL First Division record unbeaten streak to 18 games.
In his first season with the Timbers, Pore has played in 14 matches and recorded four goals and one assist. It's his second USL First Division Team of the Week selection this season.
The Timbers play host to a pair of games this week at PGE Park, starting Thursday against the Vancouver Whitecaps at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $11 and are available through the PGE Park box office, area Ticketmaster locations, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.
