Timbers conduct invitational tryouts at PGE Park

Portland Timbers head coach and general manager Gavin Wilkinson takes on his first duties as head coach when the Timbers host their 2007 invitation tryouts this weekend at PGE Park. Wilkinson, his coaching staff and Timbers administrators will be on hand to evaluate college standouts and professional players specially selected to compete for a shot at a Timbers 2007 roster spot.
WHERE: PGE Park - 1844 SW Morrison, Portland, Ore.
WHEN: Saturday, Jan. 20 and Sunday, Jan. 21 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
