Timber Rattlers Change Name to Wisconsin Brats for June 9 Game

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will be changing their name and their uniforms for their game on Saturday, June 9. The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers will be called the Wisconsin Brats for one night only as part of Bratoberfest presented by Grifols on that night.
The players and coaches will wear special-designed hats and jerseys on the evening of the game against the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Selected jerseys will be available in an online charity auction with proceeds going to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Charity Fund.
The Brats look was brought to life at Brandiose in San Diego. Partners Jason Klein and Casey White of Brandiose invented the first glow-in-the-dark, on-field cap for the Casper Ghosts and first on-field, rally cap for the Altoona Curve. They have also dreamed up top selling logos for the El Paso Chihuahuas, Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs and America's oldest baseball club, the Cincinnati Reds.
Fans will be able to order t-shirts and hats with the Wisconsin Brats logo from the Snake Pit Team Store both online and at the store in Neuroscience Group Field soon. Keep an eye on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and timberrattlers.com for further developments!
The first 1,000 fans to attend the game on that night will receive a special giveaway courtesy of Grifols. The Jerry Schneider Band is scheduled to perform their legendary polka music outside the ballpark before the game and there will be several other surprises from the Brats on that night.
Stick around after the game on June 9 to enjoy a Fireworks display from Festival Foods and children 14 and under may run the bases courtesy of Meijer.
The Timber Rattlers will begin the 2018 season at Beloit on Thursday, April 5. Their home opener is Saturday, April 7 at 4:05pm against the Beloit Snappers.
Full season, partial season, and group ticket packages are currently available for the 2018 season. Tickets packages are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER and in person. Groups of 20 or more may order tickets over the phone or in person. The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Fans may purchase individual game tickets for 2018 in person at the Timber Rattlers Box Office, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or 1-800-WI-TIMBER, or through the team's website. The Box Office at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium will be open from 10:00am to 3:00pm on March 10.
The Box Office and Snake Pit Team Store will have Saturday hours of 10:00am to 3:00pm starting on March 10 and continuing through the end of the 2018 season.
