Tigers and Renegades Rained Out

WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY- The Connecticut Tigers and Hudson Valley Renegades were rained out on Monday night at Dutchess Stadium. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, August 4 at Dodd Stadium beginning at 6:05 p.m. There will be two seven-inning games with a half-hour break between games one and two.

Connecticut returns home to start a three-game series against the Vermont Lake Monsters at 7:05 p.m. It's a special "Two for Tuesday" at the ballpark presented by Price Chopper where fans can buy one reserved ticket and receive one reserved ticket free when they present their Price Chopper Advantage Card. Additionally, fans can buy one ticket, get one free anywhere in the ballpark when they present a Kraft Singles Wrapper at the Dodd Stadium Box Office. It's also Racing Night where fans can register to win two tickets to the Sylvania 300 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 19. Stock cars and drivers from the Waterford Speed Bowl will on hand for picture opportunities with the fans! RHP Brennan Smith gets the start for the Tigers against LHP Bobby Hansen for Vermont. The Tigers' next home stand begins Tuesday, July 20 against the Vermont Lake Monsters, the short-season A affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
