
Tickets on Sale for CIFL Title Game, May 18th in Marion

On Sunday, May 18th the Marion Blue Racers (9-2) will host the 2014 Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) Championship Game at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 220 E Fairground St, Marion, OH. They will take on the defending 2013 CIFL Champion Erie Explosion (9-2). Tickets for the game are now available and can be purchased on BlueRacersFootball.com, by calling 740-251-9688, or by stopping by the Blue Racer Office at 205 W Center St, Suite 103, Marion, OH. All General Admission tickets are $10.00 (this includes ages 3 & up and military), Gold Zone and Owner's Box Tickets are $15.00, and VIP Tickets are $20.00. Field Passes are also available for $10.00. All credit cards are welcome.
This is the first time in Marion history that they will host the championship game. This is the Blue Racers' second appearance in the CIFL Championship. The team played in the 2011 CIFL Championship Game held at the Cincinnati Gardens where they were runners up to the back to back CIFL Champion Cincinnati Commandos.
During the 2014 Regular Season, the Blue Racers and the Explosion faced off twice in a home and away series. The Explosion won the first contest at home in Erie on February 16th, 23-43 and Marion won the second faceoff at home on March 9th, 22-21. Now, they will face each other as the CIFL North and South Conference Champions to determine who will have the bragging rights as the league champion and the best team in the overall head to head series.
