Thunder's Internet Presence Expands With Relaunched Web Site And Frisco Online Partnership

FRISCO, Tex. - The Frisco Thunder has relaunched its official web site at www.friscothunderifl.com and will partner will Frisco-Online.com for content and promotional opportunities, owner Jake Reed announced while attending the Intense Football League meetings in Galveston, Tex.

The redesigned site uses the latest technology to provide easy access of content for Thunder fans, sponsors and media. During the season, fans will be able to receive updated information during home games and complete coverage of away games upon return to Frisco.

"We're very pleased with the progress of our web site," Reed said. "It will serve as our online newspaper, radio station and television station. Upgrading our web presence has been one of our primary concerns as we start the 2008 season, and these upgrades thoroughly address our needs."

The Thunder has partnered with Frisco-Online.com to provide additional coverage. Frisco-Online is an area online community dedicated to in-depth content areas all related to Frisco and surrounding areas. The site boasts more than 200,000 visitor sessions and 3,000,000 page views each month, making Frisco-OnLine.com he most popular source of information for both current and prospective residents.

Frisco-Online.com will also host the Thunder's official message board, and several interactive features, including a Question and Answer session with Head Coach Troy Esprit. The Thunder's Junior Journalist program will also provide the site original content.

"This is a win-win partnership," Reed said. "We appreciate everything Frisco-Online has done for us in our inaugural season, and we are looking forward to further expanding our relationship in 2008."

The Frisco Thunder hosts the opening game of the 2008 IFL season on Saturday, March 1st at 6 p.m. against the San Angelo Stampede Express. All home games will be played on the EDS Credit Union Field in the Deja Blue Arena, located in the Frisco Dr Pepper StarCenter. Season and individual tickets are available now at 972-731-6968.
