Lakeland ThunderBolts News Release
HOLLYWOOD- The Lakeland ThunderBolts improve their record to 8-0, defeating their division rival the Florida Frenzy, 38-25 at the Hard Rock Live on Monday night. This was a big win for the ThunderBolts, not only does it leave them undefeated over all but also helps maintain their unblemished division record. Osceola is the close behind in the division with a 6-3 record.
Lakeland's defense shined once again holding Florida scoreless in the second half of the game, which proved to be the deciding factor in their victory.
"It was a hard fought ball game," stated Lakeland's head coach Keaton. "We knew coming into tonight's game that Florida was not the same team we saw the first time around, they have picked up their game."
The ThunderBolts are at home again May 20 vs. St. Louis RiverCity Rage. Kick off is at 7pm at the Lakeland Center. Single game tickets are now available at the Lakeland Center Box Office 863.834.8111 or at any Ticketmaster location 863.682.5300. All home games are played at the Lakeland Center.
