Lakeland ThunderBolts News Release

LAKELAND-Head Coach Teddy Keaton announced today the signing of three more players to the ThunderBolts roster.

Junior Louissaint (Offensive Line, 6'2", 275lbs), attended Troy State where he helped to anchor the offensive line. As a Trojan, Louissaint was named to Phil Steele's College Football second-team preseason All-Sun Belt Team. Louissaint became the talk of college football when he scooped up a DeWhitt Betterson fumble against Missouri and rambled 63 yards for a touchdown. The play made SportsCenter's Top Play of the Day and on to make Top Play of the Week on ESPN.

Josh Peters (Offensive Line, 6'5", 305lbs), is a 4-time All-MIAA and All-American from Alma College, who brings 2 years of professional experience to the ThunderBolts. In 2004, Peters played for the Tri-City Diesel, and in 2005 helped to anchor the ThunderBolts offensive line. Peters will bring great veteran leadership to the ThunderBolts this season.

Corey Lyons (Lineman, 6'2", 280lbs), rejoins the ThunderBolts for the 2006 season. Lyons versatility as a lineman will allow for the ThunderBolts to utilize him at different positions. Lyons played football for Shepherd College and is a native of Winter Haven.

"The signing of these three players really bolsters our interior line. The line is the key to our success," stated Head Coach Teddy Keaton.

Season Tickets are now available for the ThunderBolts second season of professional indoor football. All home games are played at the Lakeland Center. For more information call 863.688.Thor (8467) or visit our new office at 1628 South Florida Ave, Lakeland, FL 33803.
