Twin City Gators News Release
The number one ranked team in the Atlantic South Division took no prisoners manhandling the visiting Gators 88 -14 in Lakeland, Florida. The Thunderbolts out performed the Gators 205-55 in total offense and recovered four fumbles during the event.
Twin City was able to counter the Thunderbolt's first score of the game with a 7-yard Levi Washington pass reception from Donald Allen. The extra point failed keeping the score tied at six. Then the Thunderbolt offense went into overdrive scoring 30 unanswered points.
The Gators were able to score only once more during the event with 0:18 left in the first half when Levi Washington caught a 2-yard touchdown pass. The score was the final score of the game for Twin City.
Twin City falls to 0-7 on the season in the non-division game while Lakeland retains their unbeaten record at 7-0. The Gators return to action next Saturday when they travel to Fayetteville, Arkansas for a highly awaited rematch against the Stars (2-4).
