ThunderBolts Head Coach to Speak at Football Kick-off Dinner

LAKELAND- Head Coach Teddy Keaton, of the Lakeland ThunderBolts, will be the guest speaker for the 36th Annual Football Kick-Off Fund Raiser Dinner hosted by the Lakeland Downtown Lions Club. The dinner will take place at the Lake Mirror Center on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 6:30pm.
Coach Keaton will be highlighting his success as a football coach to a panel of coaches from the local high school teams, football booster clubs, as well as local football fans. Also awarded this year will be the coveted "Crying Towel Award", where coaches get a chance to talk (cry) about their football situations for the upcoming season. The coach with the best story wins.
This year's dinner will be catered by Texas Cattle Company; tickets are a $35 donation per person and will benefit local Lions Projects. Your donation will help to provide eye care for children, seniors and economically disadvantaged persons, funding support for Leader Dog International and the Florida based Southeast Guide Dog School, disaster relief, local youth camp for the visually impaired children and much more.
