Thunder vs. Rattlers Rescheduled to May 11
May 5, 2014 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Portland Thunder News Release
PORTLAND, OR - The Spurs' win over the Mavericks means that the Portland Thunder will look to continue their winning ways a day later than planned, as they'll take the field against the Rattlers on Sunday, May 11 at 5 p.m.
"It's tough to have to reschedule a game, but there's no better reason to have to reschedule than due to the success of another Portland team," said owner Terry Emmert. "We're happy to help support the Blazers as they go after a championship."
Mother's Day promotions will continue as planned, with a "Buy one ticket, Mom gets in free" deal. Fans who will be attending the game with a mom can get a free ticket for her by purchasing a ticket at the box office or calling them at 877-789-7673.
Fans who submit videos thanking their Mom to any social media site with the hashtags #thanksmom and #pdxthunder will be eligible to win a VIP experience for Mom including dinner, flowers, and front-row seats to the game, and their video could be featured on the Jumbotron.
Fans who have schedule conflicts and are unable to make the game should call the Thunder ticket office at 503-773-4235 to exchange their tickets for another 2014 Thunder game.
