DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Want Daytona Beach Thunder merchandise? Go online to http://www.dbthunderstore.com on Sunday, November 20 at Noon and be the first to purchase when the online store for the American Indoor Football League team.
T-shirts, golf shirts and footballs will be among the fare offered on opening day, with plans for more merchandise to be added in upcoming days. A page commemorating the first purchasers will be created.
The online site was designed and produced by Bob Schmitt of CompuGenie Website Design, the new Thunder Director of Technology.
"This is an awesome start for our online store and I commend Bob for an outstanding job,'' said Thunder co-owner and CEO Zack McDonald. "Our fans will no doubt be pleased with the ease of ordering Daytona Beach Thunder merchandise through this site."
Fans aren't the only ones who can use the site. To aid the Thunder sales staff, a section allows sponsors to finalize their deals and sponsorship packages online.
"We're very excited about offering the ease of this web site to our potential sponsors,'' McDonald said. "It can save on paperwork for everybody involved, which is a big plus."
Dedicated to establishing itself as an integral part of the local community through fan and sponsorship participation, the Thunder begins its inaugural season February 2006, with its Ocean Center home opener March 2 against the Raleigh Rebels.
