Thunder, DeGrenier Holding Free Football Camp May 2

The Utah Valley Thunder and head coach Chad DeGrenier will be offering a free football clinic for youth ages 7-14 on Saturday, May 2, from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the McKay Events Center located on the campus of Utah Valley University.

DeGrenier and members of the Thunder team will be on hand to share their knowledge of the game and provide hands on instruction.

DeGrenier, who played six years in the Arena Football league, also played collegiately at Washington State University.

In 2006, DeGrenier was named National High School Football Coach of the Year and the Arizona Football Big School Coach of the Year. He is also the Founder and Speed Training Director for Gotta Believe Academy which provides mental and physical coaching for athletes looking to take their game to the next level.

All camp participants will receive a free ticket to the Thunder's showdown with the Wyoming Cavalry that evening.

All youth interested in attending this free football clinic must fill out a permission slip before participating in drills and other activities on May 2. Permission slips will be available at the Thunder's upcoming home game against New Mexico on Monday, April 27.
