
Thunder Completes Trade with Rapid City

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League announced Thursday that defenseman Justin Sawyer has been sent to the Rapid City Rush to complete a trade for future considerations.
The Thunder acquired defenseman Jarred Mohr from the Rush at the start of the 2011-12 season. Mohr immediately added depth to the blue line and provided a strong, puck moving defenseman to its roster. The Regina, Saskatchewan native played in every game last season, set a new career-high in points with 38 (6g, 32a) and finished in a tie for ninth in plus/minus (+22).
Wichita Thunder season tickets for 2012-13 are now on sale. A $50 dollar non-refundable deposit is required for all season tickets.
