Three Thorns FC Matches to Feature on CBS Sports Network During 2022 NWSL Regular Season

PORTLAND, Ore. - The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) today announced the full broadcast schedule for the 2022 NWSL season. Three of Portland Thorns FC's matches will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. The club's full broadcast schedule with matches set be broadcast on FOX 12 PLUS will be announced in the coming weeks.

Thorns FC will have two home matches and one road match broadcast on CBS Sports Network during the 2022 regular season. Portland will square off against Cascadia rival OL Reign at Providence Park on May 13. Originally set to kick off at 7 p.m. (Pacific), the match is now set for 7:30 p.m. (Pacific). Portland plays host to the North Carolina Courage on Aug. 5; kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. (Pacific). Thorns FC's regular-season midweek road match against San Diego Wave FC on June 8 will also feature with a kick off time of 7 p.m. (Pacific).

Additionally, Portland's regular-season home finale against the Chicago Red Stars on Sept. 25 will now kick off at 1 p.m. (Pacific), adjusted from its original start time of 3 p.m. (Pacific).

The CBS Television Network will air two regular season matches, as well as the 2022 NWSL Championship. Paramount+, Paramount Global's subscription streaming service, will also stream those three matches live. CBS Sports Network will air 11 regular season games and three playoff contests, including one quarterfinal and both semifinals. Paramount+ will exclusively stream 96 additional regular season matches live in the U.S., and Twitch will exclusively stream 24 matches in the U.S. All matches will be streamed live internationally on Twitch.
