
Three QMJHL teams atop CHL Mosaik MasterCard Top 10 rankings

BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, October 18, 2006 - The Canadian Hockey League today announced the CHL Mosaik MasterCard Top-10 rankings for week four. Three Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams managed to crack the upper echelon of the CHL.
The Vancouver Giants, hosts of the MasterCard Memorial Cup Tournament next May, remain in the top spot this week thanks to a record of ten wins and only one overtime loss. They are followed closely by the Gatineau Olympiques, who remain in second place due to a six game winning streak.
The Shawinigan Cataractes (4th) and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar (7th) are the other two teams from the QMJHL in the top ten.
The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
