Ohio Valley Greyhounds News Release
Wheeling, WV- The 2002 & 2003 National Champion Ohio Valley Greyhounds announce the following change to the 2004 roster.
The Greyhounds have released the following players: Victor White (Winston Salem St.), Maurice McClain (Syracuse) and Chase Denton (Sam Houston St.).
The Greyhounds have signed Mel Long from the University of Toledo. Mel is a 6-2, 210 pound wide receiver. Long spent two seasons in mini camps with the Philadelphia Eagles and spent the 2003 season with the Mohegan Wolves of AF2 and was sign by the Indiana Firebirds in November of 2003. Long is Toledo's all time leading receiver.
