Louisville, KY-The Louisville Fire Arena Football team has been assigned quarterback Ryan O'Hara (6'6, 237 lbs., University of Arizona), defensive linemen Randy Jackson (6'1, 285 lbs., Miles College), and wide receiver Brent Craft (5'11, 185 lbs., Georgetown University).
O'Hara began his college career in 2003 after redshirting at the University of Arizona in 2002. In 2003 he appeared in five games with one start throwing for 341 yards on 33-of-78 passes. In 2003 he also lettered in basketball for the Wildcats. O'Hara left school after his brother had a kidney transplant. In 2005, O'Hara returned to the field in Junior College playing one season for Scottsdale (Ariz.) Community College where in eight games he threw for 1,322 yards, eight touchdowns, and earned All-Conference honors. O'Hara was the starting quarterback for the University of Central Oklahoma in 2006 and 2007. He threw for 3,045 yards on 268 completions and had 17 touchdowns.
"O'Hara is very athletic and has a strong arm," stated Assistant Head Coach Director of Player Personnel George Eskridge. "He possesses good size at 6'6 and has played in some big games."
Jackson is an offensive lineman that played college ball at Miles College in Alabama. In two seasons, 2004 and 2005, he started in 22 games.
"Jackson is a big guy that has good speed and size. He will be able to get pressure on the quarterback off of the end," replied Head Coach Tommy Johnson when asked about Jackson.
