JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Three Jacksonville Armada FC players were named to the North American Soccer League Team of the Week on Wednesday.

Midfielder Jaime Castrillón, who was named NASL Player of the Week on Monday, defender Fabricio Ortiz and goalkeeper David Sierra each earned a spot on the team after top performances against both the Carolina RailHawks on Wednesday, Aug. 12 and the Atlanta Silverbacks on Saturday, Aug. 15. The Armada had the most honorees of any club, and it is the first time Jacksonville had three players earn the accolade in the same week.

Castrillón scored goals in both the Armada's 3-0 win over the RailHawks and 1-0 win over the Silverbacks. The 32-year-old Colombian made 29 appearances for the Colombian National Team from 2004-07 and played for Major League Soccer's Colorado Rapids in 2012 and 2013 after spending more than 10 years in the top Colombian league. In 2012, he led the Rapids in goals scored with eight.

Ortiz, a 25-year-old from Casilda, Argentina, served as an anchor on the Armada's backline in both of their shutout victories last week. His precision slide-tackling gave opposing forwards a very tough time as they tried to aim at the Armada goal. Ortiz is the first Jacksonville defender to be named to Team of the Week.

Sierra recorded his second and third clean sheets of the season and now has 10 in his career after stifling Carolina and Atlanta. In addition to tallying five saves combined, he prevented many dangerous crosses by either jumping above opposing players and punching the ball out or pulling it down. A 31-year-old product of Real Madrid's academy, Sierra is 3-0-2 this year as a starter.

Jacksonville returns to action at 8:30 p.m. ET this Saturday against the San Antonio Scorpions from Toyota Field in San Antonio.
