
Thorns FC Square off against Utah Royals FC Tonight at Rio Tinto Stadium

Following back-to-back wins to open the NWSL Fall Series, Portland Thorns FC play the first of consecutive road matches, squaring off against Utah Royals FC tonight at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. Tonight's match begins at 7 p.m. (Pacific) and features a national television broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
Portland visits Utah coming off a 4-1 win at home against Cascadia-rival OL Reign on Sept. 30. Christine Sinclair netted a hat trick in the win, while Lindsey Horan tallied two assists. In addition, Rocky RodrÃÂguez tallied her first goal for Thorns FC.
Tonight's match marks Portland's fourth trip to Rio Tinto Stadium to take on Utah across all competitions. Thorns FC have earned at least one point in their three previous road meetings against Royals FC. Portland recorded a 3-0 win in the first meeting between the two sides in the Fall Series on Sept. 20 at Providence Park.
