The Steamers Gear Up for Remaining Games
Upcoming Games:
The St. Louis Steamers regular season is winding down but the action is heating up as all teams in the MISL vie for the 4 coveted spots in the playoffs.
Saturday, April 16th the St. Louis Steamers will take on first place Milwaukee at 1:05p.m. The Steamers need a victory to secure a spot in the playoffs. The game will be broadcast via tape delay on WB-11 at 7p.m. so be sure to tune in! And you can listen to all the hot action on the official station of the Steamers, 590 KFNS "The Fan."
Saturday, April 22nd the Steamers will travel to Kansas City to battle the Comets. You can catch all the action on 590 KFNS "The Fan."
Saturday, April 23rd the St. Louis Steamers return home for their last game in the regular season. This will be a nail-biter to see who will be in contention for the championship! The Steamers face off against their rival the Chicago Storm at 7p.m. at the Savvis Center. You can see the hard hitting action on WB11 at 7p.m. right in your very own living room.
2005 MISL Championship Finals To Be Televised Live In Prime Time On ESPN2
The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) and ESPN, the worldwide leader in sports, jointly announced today that an agreement has been reached which places the League's 2005 MISL Championship Series Finals live in prime time on ESPN2. The exclusive agreement features MISL Championship Series Finals Game One from U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee on Saturday, May 14 at 9:00 p.m. EDT and Championship Series Finals Game Two from Savvis Center in St. Louis on Saturday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
Current Appearances:
Player/Coach Daryl Doran testified at the Clayton City Council meeting about the proposed smoking ban for St. Louis. Many concerned St. Louisans spoke about the dangers of second-hand smoke and voiced their support for the ban.
This week Steamers players will be supporting and promoting a drug and smoke free lifestyle in conjunction with Tobacco Free Missouri at Avery Adventure and Horace Mann Elementary.

The St. Louis Steamers will be appearing every Wednesday at the House of Rock. Come out to meet your favorite Steamers player and hear great live music! The House of Rock is located off of South Lindbergh.

SLAR members may purchase tickets for $8 each (originally $16) for the April 16 game against the Milwaukee Wave at 1:05 PM or the April 23 game versus the Chicago Storm at 7:00 PM. Steamers/Red Cross Blood Drive April 23 On April 23, the Steamers and the American Red Cross are asking for your help by donating blood before the game. All blood donors will receive half off the original price of $16 for the April 23 game at Savvis Center when the Steamers host the Chicago Storm.

Steamers' Rough Weekend:
Steamers faced a disappointing weekend after back to back losses.
Saturday the Steamers were defeated in Chicago and then came home Sunday and fought a long arduous battle against the Cleveland Force that resulted in a loss.
