The St. Louis Steamers regular season is winding down but the action is heating up as all teams in the MISL vie for the 4 coveted spots in the playoffs.

Saturday, April 9th the St. Louis Steamers return to Chicago to face the Storm. These 2 teams clashed last Sunday with the Steamers being victorious. The Storm will definitely be looking for payback on Saturday. Game time is at 7:00 p.m. and you can watch all the action as the Steamers game is broadcast live on KPLR WB-11.

Sunday, April 10th the Steamers return home to Savvis Center to face off against the Cleveland Force. Kickoff is at 6:05p.m. and will be broadcast live on 590 KFNS "The Fan."

Current Appearances:
This week the Steamers visit Dewey Elementary School, Worden Elementary, Edgar Road Elementary and Officer Elementary. Steamers Joe Reiniger, Jeff Davis, Mariano Bollella, Marco Lopez, Mali Walton and Matt Caution visit the schools to stress the importance of a tobacco and drug free lifestyle.
On Saturday, April 9th, St. Louis Steamers will be at the home opener for the arena football team, the River City Rage. Game time is 7:00pm at Family Arena in St. Charles, MO
Also on Saturday, April 9th, St. Louis Steamers players will be at the grand opening party for the new Gold's Gym and Tan Co. in O'Fallon, IL. Come out and meet your favorite Steamers player from 7:00 to 8:30p.m.

St. Louis Steamers player/coach, Daryl Doran will be testifying at Clayton City Council about the proposed smoking ban for St. Louis. The hearing will be held April 12th at 2:00 pm.
The St. Louis Steamers will be appearing every Wednesday at the House of Rock. Come out to meet your favorite Steamers player and hear great live music! The House of Rock is located off of South Lindbergh.

Realtors' Day April 16 / Realtors' Night April 23: The St. Louis Steamers are offering special ticket prices to members of the St. Louis Association of Realtors for the final two home games of the Steamers regular season. SLAR members may purchase tickets for $8 each (originally $16) for the April 16 game against the Milwaukee Wave at 1:05 PM or the April 23 game versus the Chicago Storm at 7:00 PM. Steam Dream Dance Clinic: Sign up today to perform with the Steam Dream Team! Participants will practice with the Steam Dream Dance Team on April 13th from 7:00p.m. - 9:30p.m at Vetta Soccer Dome in Webster Groves, MO. Those who practice will then perform with the Steam Dream Dancers at halftime of the April 16th game at Savvis Center. The clinic is open to ages 5-12 and the cost is $50 per dancer, which includes 2 tickets to the April 16th game. If you have questions please call 314-613-1880.

Steamers Split the Weekend:
Steamers had a slow start to their weekend of play, losing to the Philadelphia Kixx but young talent shined in Chicago as the Steamers beat the Storm.

The Steamers fell behind early and never caught up Saturday night at Savvis Center as they took a 7-3 beating at the hands of the Philadelphia Kixx.

Sunday the Steamers improved their chances for a post-season bid thanks to a 7-5 victory over the Storm in Chicago.
