Upcoming Games:
The St. Louis Steamers will take on the Cleveland Force in Cleveland this Sunday, February 27th at 2:05 p.m. Steamers forward Lindsay Kennedy will make her road debut at the game. She played a limited role in Saturday's loss at home to Milwaukee. The Steamers are looking to break their recent losing streak with a big win in Cleveland. You can catch all the action on KFNS 590 "The Fan."
The St. Louis Steamers return home to face the Milwaukee Wave on Thursday, March 3rd at 11:05 a.m. This day game will be sponsored by Tobacco Free Missouri and D.A.R.E., with area schools in attendance to cheer on the Steamers!
The Steamers will head to Kansas City, Saturday March 19th, to play the Kansas City Comets. You can watch all the intense play on WB11 at 7:35p.m.
Steamers Select Four In MISL College Draft:
At the MISL College Draft, held on February 22nd, the St. Louis Steamers selected 4 players. The players consisted of Lindenwood University's Elvir Kafedzic, Jim Levesque, 21, played four years at Southwest Missouri State University, midfielder Trevor Goodrich out of Georgetown University and St. Louis University midfielder Brett Branan.
Steamer's Red Hot Reality Show on WB11 this Saturday Night!
"Red Card", the reality show featuring Steamers owners, players and fans, can be seen this Saturday, February 26 with back-to-back episodes at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM over KPLR-TV WB-11. Saturday's 7:00 PM episode will be an encore of the program's debut and the 8:00 PM installment will be new.
Daryl Doran's Knee Surgery a Success:
Steamer's President Michael Hetelson announced today that player/coach Daryl Doran underwent successful arthroscopic knee surgery yesterday.
Doran, 41, underwent successful knee surgery Sunday morning to repair his knee. The surgery was performed by Dr. Tim Farley at Missouri Bone & Joint Center, the official medical facility of the St. Louis Steamers. Doran will begin the rehabilitation process immediately and will be sidelined for three to four weeks. He is only expected to miss two games. Michael Hetelson commented, "This will give Daryl time to focus on his coaching duties which are very important right now."
Schedule Change:
Family Appreciation night scheduled for February 12th will be played on March 25th. Game time will be at 7:35 pm. The St. Louis Steamers players and staff apologize for any inconvenience.
Current Appearances:
The St. Louis Steamers will be appearing every Wednesday evening at House of Rock in Ronnie's Plaza. The players will be giving away vouchers, key chains and other Steamer gear!
