Neighborhood House's basketball program has been a local treasure for more than a decade. Many Morris County's best players learn the game at "The Nabe." Now its time to show everyone in town who really "Got Skillz"
We are delighted to announce that Neighborhood House will host its first basketball tournament. The tournament will take place May 11th-May16th in the gymnasium at Neighborhood House at 6:00pm. The fun-filled week is open to girls and boys ages 7-14, registration is just $5! Participants have the opportunity to collect pledges from sponsors. Any pledge that exceeds the registration fee will support Neighborhood House's basketball program. Participants who collect the most pledges will receive a prize!
Plus, there will be an Adult 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Saturday, May 16th at 9:00am at Sussex Avenue School for participants ages 15 and up. Up to 5 players can play on one team. Jersey Express, the professional ABA team will make an appearance during the tournament.
Sponsorship opportunities are available. The proceeds raised from this exciting occasion will be used to support Neighborhood House's Recreation programs. Through programs in five cities and seven locations, on an average day over 1,500 children youth and their families receive services from Neighborhood House. Our three preschools and six after-school programmatic sites are our largest programs. Our basketball, soccer, boxing and fitness programs are essential to our holistic approach to helping children to become self sufficient adults.
