BURLINGTON, VT --- For the second straight year, the ZONE (WXZO 96.7 FM/WEAV 960 AM) will broadcast live all 76 Vermont Lake Monsters games during the 2007 New York-Penn League season, the team and Clear Channel Radio/Burlington announced today.

In all, it is the third straight year that the Lake Monsters and Clear Channel have teamed up for radio broadcasts of Vermont games. After broadcasting 50 games during the 2005 season, the ZONE increased its coverage to all 76 regular-season games for the 2006 season.

"We are very pleased to have the ZONE back on board as our radio partner for the 2007 season," Vermont Lake Monsters General Manager C.J. Knudsen said. "The chance for our fans to follow the team home and away every night is great, and we could not be happier with the professionalism that the ZONE brings to every broadcast."

"Nothing beats baseball on the radio and summer at the ballpark is always fun," ZONE Sports Director Dave Koehn said. "We're excited to have another opportunity to deliver a good community-oriented program to baseball fans across Vermont."

Announcing duties for the 2007 season will be the same as last season with Koehn, George Commo, Jack Healey and Chris Wojcik all returning to the broadcast booth.

In addition to 96.7 FM and 960 AM, the full 76-game schedule will be broadcast live on WTSJ 1320 in Randolph as part of the Vermont Lake Monsters radio network.

The ZONE, Vermont's news, talk and sports leader, will broadcast all 38 home and 38 away games for the Lake Monsters this season, beginning with the opener at historic Centennial Field on Tuesday, June 19th against the Tri-City ValleyCats.
