
The Stage Is Set for the MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs Semifinals

Frisco, TX - The stage is set for the inaugural MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs Semifinals with seven MLS Academy programs and seven Elite Academies advancing. New Jersey's PDA (U16, U17) and Sacramento Republic FC (U17, U19) were the only two clubs to advance two age groups to the semifinals. A pair of semifinal matches and all four finals will be played on the FC Dallas first team pitch at Toyota Stadium.
The U15 semifinalists are the New England Revolution, Philadelphia Union, Real Salt Lake and the San Jose Earthquakes. The U16 semifinalists are FC Delco, Tampa Bay United, Weston FC and PDA. The U17 semifinalists are Orlando City SC, PDA, Sacramento Republic FC and Seattle Sounders FC and the U19 semifinalists are Chicago Fire FC, Real Colorado, Sacramento Republic FC and Solar Soccer Club.
Upon qualifying for the semifinals, all sixteen clubs entered the MLS NEXT hospitality experience, featuring stays at MLS NEXT provided hotels, charter bus transports, meals designed by the MLS NEXT nutritionist and an array of off-site activities including a visit to the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
