JOHNSTOWN, PA - After many phone calls with fans wanting to know, the truth is finally out. The "Q", Quenteen Robinson has re-signed with the Johnstown Riverhawks of the American Indoor Football Association for the 2007 season. The Johnstown High School Grad will take the field for his 5th season of Johnstown professional indoor football.
Robinson (5'10", 190), comes out of Spartansburgh Methodist College where he played wide receiver. With the Riverhawks, Robinson will play wide receiver and defensive back, will return kicks as well as hold for kicks. He is coming off a 2006 season with the Riverhawks in which he was team captain while catching 70 balls for 26 touchdowns and was named to the American Indoor Football League's All-pro 1st Team. In 2005, as a captain, with the Riverhawks, Quenteen was second in the league with 68 receptions and 25 touchdowns. He also led the league in all purpose yards (1268). He started his professional career with the Johnstown Jackals of the National Indoor Football League in 2000 and played with the J-Dogs in 2001, where he led the league with 80 receptions.
Quenteen graduated from Johnstown High School where he was a four year letter-winner in football, baseball and wrestling. He is employed by the Keystone Economic Development Corporation and is highly active in the Johnstown community as President of the Johnstown Boys/Girls Baseball league, and as a youth coach and role model. He is happily married to wife, Stephanie and has four children, Quenteen Jr., Amaya, Geruon, Quentcy.
